Originally designed by Roland as a one-off for his first gen 2 cooper S back in 2006. Little did he know the demand for this item and turned it into a GTT product several years later.
*Due to the change in the Gen 2 (2006 on) rear trailing arm design compared to Gen 1 ( 2002-2006) , this product allows you to fit any Gen1 aftermarket suspension kit onto your Gen2 or Gen 1 JCW GP MINI.
* Gen 1 suspension kits are more readily available than Gen 2 and are generally cheaper.
*This ‘fills the void’ between the R53 rear strut and R56 trailing arm, due to the R56 strut / shock having a built in bushing at the base of the strut, which extends into the trailing arm.
* Product gives correct location and offset …nothing else required.
* Made from solid stainless steel…very strong and no corroding!
*This product also ideal if upgrading your Gen1 trailing arms to the lighter Gen2 alloy trailing arms, and want to us your existing suspension kit!
