Only TIG welding used throughout. This is normally the preserve of elite supercar quality requirements! Only GTT offer this for the Cooper S, other brands opting for much cheaper to produce MIG welding ….see the difference! 2 Silencer system, comes as front section, Re-Route (link) pipe, and rear section + all clamps and fittings.
*Entire rear section is mirror polished with handmade double slash cut tip ends.
*Single left rear box for lower weight and better weight distribution. Balances out the driver’s weight on the right hand side. The second silencer is positioned in the centre tunnel.

*Good power gain! Depending on other modifications, typically 5-20 bhp is possible! Tested for restrictions this system is the least restrictive we’ve tested!
*Proper hanger design, with ‘stops’ and barded ends…Prevents rubber mounts sliding on the hanger and knocking under extreme driving.
*GTT ‘Sportlite’ cat back exhaust for the R53 Cooper S comes compete with replacement GTT rear under tray / Heat shield, in thick gauge Fabricated Aluminium, finished in tough power coated Black or Red, with ‘S’ logo laser cut into the centre as a nice finishing touch. A stylish upgrade for your original deteriorated and buckled shield….. Only GTT include this item with their exhaust FOC!
*Component design policy for cost effective upgradability, i.e. Rear section can be purchased without front section if required and will connect directly to your stock front pipe.
